Monitor mentions of a brand, product, or topic across social channels. Google searches:

Twitter signals:

  • Direct mentions and replies
  • Sentiment (positive, negative, neutral)
  • Influencer mentions (high follower accounts)
  • Competitor comparisons

Reddit signals:

  • New threads mentioning the brand
  • Comments in relevant subreddits
  • Upvote patterns (viral potential)

News signals:

  • Press coverage
  • Industry publications
  • Competitor news

What Counts as Alert-Worthy

High priority (immediate alert):

  • Negative viral content (>100 engagements)
  • Press coverage (positive or negative)
  • Influencer mentions (>10k followers)
  • Competitor comparison threads

Medium priority (daily digest):

  • General mentions
  • Feature requests
  • Positive testimonials
  • Industry discussions
