Cotera vs Arga

Arga Rehearses the Run. Cotera Traces the Real One, Then Fixes It.

Arga Labs gives engineering teams sandboxed twins so agents can practise before production. Cotera closes the same loop from the other end: span-level traces of live runs, memory that carries forward, and an agent that can rewrite the workflow when a trace shows it went wrong.

When to Choose Cotera Over Arga

You would rather instrument reality than simulate it

Every Cotera run is a trace: spans on a timeline, the full input and output of each tool call, the attempt number when something retried, the duration, the credits spent. No twin to keep in sync with the real API, and no fidelity gap to argue about.

The agent should not start cold

Cotera agents carry memory between runs — facts scoped to a person or the whole organization, and a searchable index of what previous tool calls returned. Improvement comes from accumulated context, not from a training loop you have to run.

Fixing it should not need an engineer

When a trace shows a run took the wrong branch, Coco can read the workflow graph and edit it — nodes, edges, and triggers — from a conversation. On the Arga model, the same fix is a code change, a new scenario, and another test run.

The buyer is not an engineering team

Arga is sold to teams building agents, and reasonably so. If the person who wants the automation works in sales, support, or ops, Cotera lets them describe it, watch the trace, and correct it without an engineering sponsor.

Cotera: For people who think busywork is boring.

"This is the best product ever when it comes to shipping. Ten on ten recommended. I just can't wait to see what happens with this product."
