The Prompt

Intro:

Find what keywords my competitors rank for. Show me their top keywords, search volumes, and identify gaps where they rank but I don't.

Give me one or more competitor URLs (and optionally your own URL to find gaps).

Tools:

  • @google_searchName it "google_search" and call it with @google_search
    • Find competitor pages that rank well
  • @SimilarWeb/Get Traffic DataName it "SimilarWeb/Get Traffic Data" and call it with @SimilarWeb/Get Traffic Data
    • Get top organic keywords
  • @Google Keyword/ResearchName it "Google Keyword/Research" and call it with @Google Keyword/Research
    • Get volume and difficulty

What to Do:

  1. Pull top keywords for each competitor from SimilarWeb
  2. Get search volume and difficulty for the top 20-30 keywords
  3. Identify which keywords appear for multiple competitors
  4. Find keywords with volume > 500 and difficulty < 50 (quick wins)
  5. Group keywords by intent (informational, commercial, transactional)

Return:

A competitor keyword report with:

  • Competitor keyword overview (total keywords, estimated organic traffic)
  • Top 10 keywords per competitor with volume, difficulty, and position
  • Keyword gaps (they rank, you don't) with volume and difficulty
  • Quick wins (low difficulty, high value keywords)
  • Shared keywords (multiple competitors rank — likely important for your space)
  • Recommendations on which keywords to prioritize
