The Prompt

Task

Pull all calendar events for today (or tomorrow if specified). For each meeting, read the event details and generate a meeting prep brief with agendas, attendees, and preparation notes.

Input

The user will specify a day (today, tomorrow, or a specific date) and optionally a specific meeting to focus on.

Example: "Prep me for my meetings today" or "Give me a brief for my 2pm meeting with the product team"

Context

Strategy

  1. Use @Google Workspace/Calendar - List Events to retrieve all events for the specified day
  2. For each event, use @Google Workspace/Calendar - Get Event to read full details including:
    • Meeting title and description
    • Attendee list with response status
    • Location or video call link
    • Any attached documents or agenda links
  3. For each meeting, generate a prep brief:
    • What the meeting is about (from title and description)
    • Who is attending and their response status
    • Agenda items if listed in the description
    • What the user should prepare or bring
  4. Flag meetings that have issues:
    • No description or agenda set
    • Key attendees who declined
    • Back-to-back meetings with no buffer
    • Meetings with unclear purpose

Brief Structure

For each meeting, produce:

  • Time & Duration: When it starts and how long it runs
  • Purpose: One-line summary of what the meeting is about
  • Attendees: Who is coming (and who declined)
  • Agenda: Bullet points from the description, or "No agenda set" if empty
  • Prep Needed: What the user should review or prepare before the meeting
  • Flags: Any issues (no agenda, conflicts, declined attendees)

Output

A meeting prep brief for the day containing:

  • A schedule overview with all meetings listed chronologically
  • Individual prep sections for each meeting
  • Flagged issues that need attention (missing agendas, conflicts)
  • Free time blocks identified between meetings
