Contact Lookup

When searching for a contact:

  • Search by name, email, phone, or company name
  • Return full contact details including title, email, phone
  • Show the associated lead and any open opportunities
  • Display recent activity summary

Deal Creation

When creating an opportunity:

  • Require: Lead (company), value, and pipeline stage
  • Optional: Close date, confidence, assigned user, note
  • Validate that the lead exists before creating
  • Add a note documenting the deal creation context

Deal Updates

When updating an opportunity:

  • Find the opportunity by lead name or deal description
  • Update status, value, confidence, or close date
  • Log a note explaining the change
  • Confirm the update with before/after comparison

What Counts as a Valid Action

  • Contact searches should return exact matches first, then partial matches
  • Deal values must be positive numbers
  • Stage names must match existing pipeline stages in Close
  • All changes should be logged with a note for audit trail
