Authentication

Bombora uses OAuth 2.0 bearer tokens. Obtain an access token from the Bombora Developer Portal using your client credentials.

Required Credentials:

  • bearerToken — your Bombora OAuth 2.0 access token

Intent Data

Query Bombora's Company Surge® intent data to surface companies showing elevated research activity around specific topics.

Intent Query

Submit an intent data query and retrieve the first page of results. Bombora returns company-level intent scores indicating which domains are actively researching your topics above their historical baseline.

Operation Type: Query (Read)

Parameters:

  • topics array of strings (optional, default: []): Bombora topic IDs to filter intent data by (max 50). Leave empty to retrieve intent across all topics.
  • attributes array of strings (optional): Fields to include in each result record. Common values:
    • domain — the company's domain
    • score — intent score (0–100)
    • scoreLabel — label such as "Low", "Medium", "High"
    • topicsCount — number of topics showing elevated research
    • topics — full topic breakdown
    • company.name — company name
    • company.industry — industry classification
    • company.size — company size
    • company.revenue — estimated revenue
    • company.hq.country — headquarters country
    • company.hq.state — headquarters state
  • limit number (optional, default: 100): Maximum records to return (1–10,000)
  • filters array of objects (optional, default: []): Narrow results using field-level filters
    • field string (required): Field name to filter on (e.g. "score", "domain")
    • operator string (required): Comparison operator: "eq", "neq", "gt", "gte", "lt", "lte", "in", "nin"
    • value string (required): Value to compare against

Returns:

  • records array of objects: Intent records for matching companies
    • domain string (nullable): Company domain
    • score number (nullable): Intent score (0–100; higher = more active research)
    • scoreLabel string (nullable): Human-readable score label (e.g. "High")
    • topicsCount number (nullable): Number of topics showing elevated activity
    • companyName string (nullable): Company name
    • companyIndustry string (nullable): Industry classification
    • companyCountry string (nullable): Headquarters country
    • rawData object: The full raw record as returned by the Bombora API
  • totalReturned number: Number of records in this response
  • hasMorePages boolean: Whether additional pages of results are available
  • nextPageToken string (nullable): Token to retrieve the next page of results
